Tatler's Restaurant website gives a good example of what may be achieved with a single-page website. There's no crimping on the style and no lack of content here.
Single page websites work well on several levels:
- Little or no navigation needed -
all the content is on one page;
- Highly economical -
can be built to the smallest of budgets;
- Using 'Accordion' method to Show/Hide content means there's no end to the amount of content available, and, crucially,
- Works wonderfully well for Google -
having a clear and logical hierarchy of headings makes good sense to users - and to Google.

White Horse Farm is a cluster of luxury holiday barns developed to an exceptionally high standard, in the heart of North Norfolk at Gunthorpe. The owner's vision was clear from the outset of the project, that the website should be the main source of information for the barns and that it would effectively convey their very high and special quality.
The site design and style came quite naturally as a neutral backdrop to allow maximum impact for the photos of the barns and the surrounding Norfolk countryside. As always, top quality photos are essential to illustrate the beauty and sophistication of well designed interiors - the slideshow/enlargement method used on this site works smoothly and quickly.
White Horse Farm's website rapidly achieved success with Google after its launch. The owner made good use of listing the barns individually on the popular Glaven Valley website; a surefire way to attract visitors to a North Norfolk website, especially in the accommodation field. That, along with detailed analysis and careful optimisation to ensure maximum popularity will doubtlessly maintain white-horse-farm.co.uk's high ranking in search engine results pages.

St Giles House Hotel's website has been highly successful. The owner's well-orchestrated advertising and marketing campaigns have paid dividends and maintaining the position the Hotel has acheived requires that the website's content and style must be kept up to date.
St Giles' new 'Bistro' style was introduced in Autumn 2010 and is designed to reflect the more casual, yet cosmopolitan dining at the hotel's restaurant. A key element is the use of vector images, silhouetted people, in various settings; cafe, dining, celebrations etc.
The style extends to the hotel's email (Mailshot) marketing and to all offline advertising.
